He was born on September 25, 1965, in Hamburg, Arkansas, United States. Pippen is best known for his time with the Chicago Bulls, where he played alongside Michael Jordan and helped the team win six NBA championships in the 1990s. Pippen attended college at the University of Central Arkansas before entering the NBA. He was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics with the fifth overall pick in the 1987 NBA Draft but was traded to the Chicago Bulls on draft day.
