Luka Doncic is a professional basketball player from Slovenia who currently plays for the Dallas Mavericks in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on February 28, 1999, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Doncic started playing professional basketball at a young age, and he made his debut for Real Madrid at the age of 16. He won the EuroLeague MVP award in 2018, becoming the youngest player to win the award in EuroLeague history. Doncic was drafted third overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2018 NBA draft and was then traded to the Dallas Mavericks on draft night. In his rookie season, Doncic was named the NBA Rookie of the Year and was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. He has since become one of the best players in the league and has been named to multiple All-NBA teams. Doncic is known for his exceptional playmaking ability, court vision, and scoring ability.
